Danish Offshore Gas Systems A/S joins the PRISMA platform

Leipzig, May 23, 2023 - PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH is glad to announce the addition of Danish Offshore Gas System A/S as a new operator on our platform. 

The company is a legal entity in the Ørsted group and manages marketing, sales and handling of transportation services and associated services in relation to shippers who apply for access to Ørsted's North Sea gas pipelines.

“We were looking for a new booking facility for our gas transportation business”, explains Carsten Johansen, Lead Business Manager at Danish Offshore Gas Systems. “Instead of developing a new platform from scratch, we found that PRISMA’s solution fully meets our business and technical requirements, for instance aligning our product portfolio to the adjacent TSO to simplify the shipper’s capacity booking procedure”.

Danish Offshore Gas Systems A/S will start marketing capacity in September 2023. The Shipper Registration will begin in September 2023. PRISMA will provide details in August 2023. Please refer to the PRISMA knowledge base for more information about the registration process.

Other entities within the Ørsted group holding the necessary technical competencies are responsible for the technical operation and maintenance of the transportation system.
